From mini one day festivals in the cider garden, to pop up pubs in the beautiful Hardwicke Village Hall, we run all sorts of fun events across the year. We very much hope to welcome you to some of them!

2025 Events Calendar

 

25th April-  Hardwicke Hall pop up pub

Join us at the delightful Hardwicke hall for an evening of merriment! The bar will be stocked with the best locally made drinks available (Lucky 7 beer, wine from Black Mountain Vineyard, cider from ourselves and gin and tonics from Hay Distillery) plus non alcoholic options! 

We'll also be hosting our first pub quiz, starting at 8:30pm and it's £5 per team to enter.

If you're hungry we'll have chips (cooked fresh in Hardwicke hall's brand new shiny chip fryer!) plus some seasonal soup served with locally made bread for sale. 

Ample parking is available at the hall.

8th May- Hardwicke Cider Club- An evening with Welsh Mountain Cider

Join us as we invite our friends from the world of cider to tell their stories, whilst tasting their creations and delving deep into cider’s rich cultural tapestry. Expect to meet cidermakers, both commerical and hobbyists, orchardists, cider lovers and enthusiasts, historians and much more!

This month we'll be welcoming Chava of Welsh Mountain Cider!

10th May- Late Beltane at the cidery

Join us for our third annual celebration of Beltane! We’re delighted to welcome back wonderful local restaurant @the_cider_barn to the orchard who will be serving up seasonal and local street food inspired by the beauty and simplicity of the Herefordshire countryside.

The bar will be stocked with the best locally made drinks available (@lucky7beerco, wine from @blackmountainvineyard , and gin and tonics from @hay.distillery) and cider from ourselves of course! We’ll also have a good range of non-alcoholic options.

As if that wasn’t enough, in the evening we’ll also be treated to some wonderful music from ‘The Black Cat String Band’, a group of market gardeners, horse whisperers, off-gridders and land workers playing up beat, danceable Appalachian folk. These multi instrumentalists will be bringing their bright combinations of mandolin, concertina, double bass, violin, guitar, voice and more and are certain to have you up and dancing!

Come and join us around the campfire for a truly memorable Beltane!

Parking is first come, first served at the venue. Alternatively, we are reachable by foot via the Wye Valley Walk- a beautiful stroll direcly across the fields from Hay on Wye that takes around 40mins. Additional un-offical parking may also be available at St. Mary’s Church, Clifford. (//////delighted.wicked.hardback).

Join us as we invite our friends from the world of cider to tell their stories, whilst tasting their creations and delving deep into cider’s rich cultural tapestry. Expect to meet cidermakers, both commerical and hobbyists, orchardists, cider lovers and enthusiasts, historians and much more!

This month we'll be welcoming Albert of the Ross-on-Wye Cider and Perry co!

27th June-  Hardwicke Hall pop up pub

Join us at the delightful Hardiwcke Village Hall for an evening of merriment! The bar will be stocked with the best locally made drinks available (beer from Lucky 7, natural wine from Black Mountain Vineyard, cider from ourselves and gin and tonics from Hay Distillery) plus non alcoholic options! 

We'll also be hosting a pub quiz, starting at 8:30pm and is £5 per team to enter.

The BBQ will be fired up and offering a selection of delicious hot food and salads! We'll have vegan options but please get in touch with any other dietary requirements and we'll do our best to accomodate.

Sales of food from this pop up will go towards maintaining the Hall.

Doors open at 5pm.

The quiz will take place at 8:30pm and is £5 per team to enter.

11th July- Moth spotting in the orchard

Join us for a magical evening of moth spotting in the orchard!

There are over 2,500 different species of moth to be found in the UK, compared to just 59 species of butterfly and we want to find out how many are hidden in the hedgerows and trees of Artistraw Cider!
